Akshita Web

Akshita Joshi


Akshita is a first year MBA student at the Stanford GSB. This summer, she will be interning at Bain in the general consulting practice before joining MBA’s Across America and is excited about continuing to excite her consulting skills through the summer.

Before her MBA, Akshita was at Facebook for 2.5 years as a Direct Sales Account Manager for the India Market. As the first in country Account Manager for Facebook in India, Akshita was instrumental in building key agency and client relationships and recruiting and training the India Sales team. During this time, her areas of focus were Facebook analytics, client and agency education and training, client and agency relationship management and digital media strategy and optimization. Prior to this, she spent time building up a campaign analytics team that helped optimize large scale global campaigns and has worked on client campaigns globally. Before leaving Facebook India, she helped establish the Mumbai sales team and office, which was a great way to culminate her journey there.

Prior to Facebook, Akshita spent 1.5 years at Suzlon Energy, India’s leading wind energy company, as an external consultant focused on organization transformation. During this time, she was part of the Project management office and coordinated change management, communication, training and tracking of operational metrics.

Akshita has done a Bachelors in Commerce from Symbiosis College, Pune and volunteered extensively with the Rotary, AIESEC and Help Life.

Alex Web

Alex Gart


Alex was previously the Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning for Powderhorn Mountain Resort where he directed a team of 30 from departments such as Accounting an Ticket Sales in long-term financial planning and analysis initiatives and strategic reviews with the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Powderhorn, Alex worked as an Investment Banking Analyst and Associate at Canaccord Genuity in the Healthcare M&A practice. Alex also works with the Colorado Nature Conservancy to engage youth, like himself, with a passion for the outdoors in conservation efforts to ensure future generations of Coloradans can enjoy equally all that Colorado has to offer. Alex is a first-year MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated with a B.A. in Neuroscience from Middlebury College.

Rachel Web

Rachel Witalec


Rachel is in her first year of an MBA program at Stanford GSB. She’s fascinated by disruptive technologies and new media and views the Internet as a new tool that will transform businesses and customer experiences across all industries- from consumer electronics to pharmaceuticals to government.

Before her MBA, Rachel was at Google for 6 years, most recently working as the Global Google Analytics Strategy Lead at the global headquarters in Mountain View, CA. In this role, she worked between the global sales and product/engineering teams to commercialize features and help businesses use Google Analytics (and other tracking products) to better understand the digital world and how it relates to their customers. She focused on strategies to better measure customers across the online and offline worlds and how to use data to inform more efficient marketing decisions. She was a key evangelist for the power of data internally with Google account management teams and externally with clients of all sizes. She has a strong passion for helping others understand how to use Google products to accomplish their business needs.

Prior to joining the Google Analytics team, she worked as an advertising account executive within the financial services industry. She also served on the Alumni Association Executive Board at the London School of Economics as Chair of the Communications Subcommittee and was a member of the Executive Committee.

Born and raised in Michigan, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Kalamazoo College and was lucky enough to spend a year abroad studying industrial relations at the London School of Economics.

Roger Web

Roger Breum


Before returning to graduate school, Roger previously worked as an Application & Sales Engineer for Sandvik Materials Technology where he was in charge of product management for automotive tubing products in the United States as well as business development for these products globally. This role incorporated everything from price setting and sales to long-term strategy development and new customer development. Prior to this role, Roger was recruited into Sandvik’s management rotation program, during which he lived and worked in Sweden, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, China, and Australia. This program was both a training and an internal consulting program in which Roger worked on projects involving both sales and production, involving industries such as clean energy, oil & gas, and consumer products. Outside of work, Roger is an avid sports fan – a passion which has taken him to work at the Association of Surfing Professionals this summer before beginning his MBAxAmerica work. Currently, Roger is a first-year MBA student at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and double-majored in Engineering and Theater at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
