Before her MBA, Akshita was at Facebook for 2.5 years as a Direct Sales Account Manager for the India Market. As the first in country Account Manager for Facebook in India, Akshita was instrumental in building key agency and client relationships and recruiting and training the India Sales team. During this time, her areas of focus were Facebook analytics, client and agency education and training, client and agency relationship management and digital media strategy and optimization. Prior to this, she spent time building up a campaign analytics team that helped optimize large scale global campaigns and has worked on client campaigns globally. Before leaving Facebook India, she helped establish the Mumbai sales team and office, which was a great way to culminate her journey there.
Prior to Facebook, Akshita spent 1.5 years at Suzlon Energy, India’s leading wind energy company, as an external consultant focused on organization transformation. During this time, she was part of the Project management office and coordinated change management, communication, training and tracking of operational metrics.
Akshita has done a Bachelors in Commerce from Symbiosis College, Pune and volunteered extensively with the Rotary, AIESEC and Help Life.
Before her MBA, Rachel was at Google for 6 years, most recently working as the Global Google Analytics Strategy Lead at the global headquarters in Mountain View, CA. In this role, she worked between the global sales and product/engineering teams to commercialize features and help businesses use Google Analytics (and other tracking products) to better understand the digital world and how it relates to their customers. She focused on strategies to better measure customers across the online and offline worlds and how to use data to inform more efficient marketing decisions. She was a key evangelist for the power of data internally with Google account management teams and externally with clients of all sizes. She has a strong passion for helping others understand how to use Google products to accomplish their business needs.
Prior to joining the Google Analytics team, she worked as an advertising account executive within the financial services industry. She also served on the Alumni Association Executive Board at the London School of Economics as Chair of the Communications Subcommittee and was a member of the Executive Committee.
Born and raised in Michigan, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Kalamazoo College and was lucky enough to spend a year abroad studying industrial relations at the London School of Economics.
