MBAx2 Stern Team

Kiko Restrepo

Prior to Stern, Kiko received a B.Arch from Carnegie Mellon and worked as an architectural designer and then an architectural marketer in firms in Dubai and New York. He is interested in pursuing a career in strategy within the hospitality industry in order to gain enough experience to eventually start his own hospitality venture. Having previously started his own creative agency, he is thrilled to be supporting entrepreneurs across America through MBAx.

Jake Singer

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Jake grew up in Ohio, Israel, and Florida. Since graduating from Brandeis University, Jake has been fortunate to travel abroad frequently, teaching American football to kids while living in a homestay in Costa Rica, organizing community events in Bolivia, and consulting on the opening of a national park in the UAE.
More recently, this emphasis on international experience has yielded to a burning desire to explore our beautiful United States more deeply, with recent trips to New Orleans, Austin, and the Pacific Northwest only strengthening it. This brings Jake to MBAs Across America, which he views as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from phenomenal entrepreneurs building communities all over the U.S. He is thrilled to be hitting the road with three fantastic Stern classmates, and can’t wait to start building relationships with the entrepreneurs in the vibrant communities we visit.

Dan DeVece

Dan grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from the The College of New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science before beginning a career in public relations and marketing communication. For four years, Dan worked at Hunter Public Relations, a boutique-marketing agency, where he conducted media relations, social media campaigns and experiential events for clients in the alcohol beverage industry. He left to pursue his MBA at NYU Stern School of Business where he focused on Marketing, Finance and Strategy. In the fall, Dan will join Colgate-Palmolive in their Global Marketing Development Program.

Chelsea Colby

Chelsea grew up in Virginia, and for some reason escaped the relative warmth to study Hotel Administration at Cornell University.  Upon graduation, she journeyed further north to join a Toronto-based management consulting firm specializing in hospitality and healthcare process improvement.  A position at American Express in their Strategic Planning department followed prior to NYU Stern, where she specialized in strategy and sustainability.  Going forward, Chelsea hope to combine her interests in sustainability and hospitality in a corporate or small-business role.  Chelsea is fluent in Japanese and enjoys stand-up comedy, making ice cream, and garage rock, which she is excited to make her teammates listen to on the road during MBAx.
