MBAx2 Ross Team

Jourdan Sutton

A true road warrior, Jourdan once drove from Los Angeles to Ann Arbor, hopped on a plane, flew to New York, and then drove to Ann Arbor, again. Prior to attending Ross, Jourdan, who hails from Brooklyn, started his career in derivative capital markets. After several years on Wall Street, Jourdan realized he was more excited about his impact focused volunteer work outside of office hours than how many points the market was up that day. Jourdan left NYC and moved to DC where he worked as a strategy consultant for the U.S. government.

Motivated by an economic development engagement he led, Jourdan came to Ross hoping to develop skills that would allow him to have an even bigger impact on social enterprises. At Ross, Jourdan has focused on a variety of impact issues including education, food safety, and economic development. Jourdan recently completed his MBA, and plans to continue his social impact efforts in the Bay Area after MBAx.

Lily Hamburger

I am a first-year MBA at the Ross School of Business. I come from a non-profit professional background where I have worked with multicultural communities in Washington, DC and rural Gujarat, India. My work has ranged from community empowerment to public health to immigrant integration. I hope to use my MBA to discover and strengthen private sector contributions to solving pressing social challenges.

I am a natural optimist, and excited to join the MBAs Across America movement to rebuild an economy that is vibrant, inclusive and positive. My passion for empowering people and building thriving, multicultural neighborhoods drives all of my professional pursuits, and this case is no different, plus it represents a new area of growth for me.
