MBAx1 Babson Team 2

Kip Web

Kip Taylor

Bio

Kip was born and raised in Virginia, but truly grew up during his travels across the country and the world. He’s been fortunate to experience entrepreneurship of all kinds: from the most simplistic in Haiti and Bangladesh to the most sophisticated in Singapore and Hong Kong. As an Infantry officer, Kip is committed to serving our nation in the Army, and he’s humbled by the opportunity to be of service in a different way to American entrepreneurs.

“We must use time creatively in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do what is right.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Jorge Web

Jorge Gutiérrez

Bio

Jorge, originally from Mexico City with a background in Industrial Engineering, attended Babson as a Fulbright Scholar. As a serial-entrepreneur, he knows first-hand the power of entrepreneurship to positively impact individuals, communities, and companies of all sizes. Jorge is using his entrepreneurial spirit to transform himself, to teach others, and to help all that he can, particularly the next generation of young innovators in Mexico & Tanzania.

“The first duty of man is to be happy, the second to make others happy.” – Mario ‘Cantinflas’ Moreno

Luca Web

Luca Ceschin

Bio

Luca is from Sao Paulo, where he worked with early-stage entrepreneurs before eventually cofounding his own startup. With Brazilian beaches close by, he enjoys surfing, but is absolutely addicted to soccer. Educated as an economist, Luca is not only intrigued by business models that generate revenue, but also create positive impacts for society, and he’s looking forward to promoting local social enterprises in Sao Paulo after MBAx.

“Success is no accident. It’s hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing.” – Pele

Alvaro is an engineer turned entrepreneur from Lima, Peru. While he’s never turned down an adventure, especially those that include surfing or travel, Alvaro’s heart is committed to helping the less fortunate around the world primarily through employment education. After MBAx, Alvaro will return to his home country to resume his engineering practice and continue teaching entrepreneurship to the impoverished people within Peru.
